TO-30 Paint Color

Posted on May 15, 2017May 17, 2017 by Paul Hoehne

I would like to paint my 1952 TO-30 back to original color. The correct shade of grey seems to be a matter of opinion. In spray cans and/or quarts, what is your position on color and supplier. Two of the companies making ready mixed Ferguson Gray paint are Van Sickle and Industrial Touchup. Both companies Read more about TO-30 Paint Color[…]

Posted on February 23, 2017March 8, 2017 by Paul Hoehne

Do some TO-35’s have side name plates and some have decals? The first two versions of the TO-35, Light Gray/Metallic Green, and Bamboo Beige/Flint Metallic Gray have the metal side plates that read Ferguson 35. The side plates on the first version have a dark green background, and the second version have a red background. Read more about TO-35 Name Plates and Decals[…]

Posted on December 14, 2016January 1, 2017 by Paul Hoehne

On the F-40, was the Ferguson name painted on the sides, or were they stick on decals? The Ferguson name on the sides of the F-40 hood are decals. Implement Paint Colors

Posted on November 1, 2016November 1, 2016 by Rick Weaver

A FENA resource shows there are apparently 3 colors depending on the year of production. How can you tell the year of production, with which to choose the appropriate color? April 14, 2016. Posted on October 30, 2016 by Rick Weaver

I finished restoring my US 135 and I want to put the decals on the tractor. Do you have any information which shows where the decals go? I have a ‘CAUTION to avoid possible tractor overturn…’ speed range chart (I think this one belongs on to the fender), a range decal that says: ‘R-1-2-3-L-N-H’ and, ‘Danger Read more about MF135 Decal Placement[…]

TO-35 Green Metallic Paint

Posted on October 30, 2016October 30, 2016 by Rick Weaver

Concerning my TO-35, do you know if the original green paint was metallic? It seems to me I remember seeing it when I was on the farm back in the 50’s. I can’t detect it on some of the concealed parts that still have green on them. Yes, the green on the castings is a Read more about TO-35 Green Metallic Paint[…]
